Student Research Fellowship
Furman HDF Faculty and Student Research Fellowships fund faculty, student, and collaborative faculty-student research projects and creative activities in the humanities and the arts, including but not limited to the following: (co-)authoring essays, conducting archival research, (co-)translating primary texts for publication, hosting public colloquia or seminars, and (collaborating on) public and mediated humanities and arts projects.
To fulfill interdisciplinary minor requirements, students must successfully complete:
Four additional courses beyond the introductory level in humanities disciplines selected in conjunction with the academic advisor and approved in advance by the minor oversight committee, and
** No more than two courses used to meet minor requirements can be completed through the same academic department, while only one course may also contribute to a student major. Courses contributing to requirements of the minor cannot be completed using the pass/no pass grading option.
